Nadi International Airport is about four hours from Sydney, three and a half from Brisbane, three from Auckland, around ten from HonG KONG.
Do I need a visa to visit Fiji?
Visitors from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom and many other countries receive a visitor permit on arrival, typically for up to four months. How do you get to the outer islands?

Is Fiji safe to travel to?

What should I wear when visiting a Fijian village?
Cover shoulders and knees (a sulu, or sarong, is ideal), remove hats and sunglasses, and take off shoes before entering homes. Visits are customarily arranged in advance and begin with a sevusevu, the presentation of yaqona (kava) to the village chief.
What language is spoken in Fiji?
English is an official language and widely spoken, alongside Fijian and Fiji Hindi. A simple bula (hello) and vinaka (thank you) are always warmly received.
